SRS & Which Spell Totem?

I am building a HC Summon Raging Spirits Witch and using an Ice Nova Spell Totem at the moment to drop in crowds or near me, yet not sure what is best regarding a second skill to use with SRS:

1) Continue using Spell Totem with Ice Nova or another Cold Spell to slow down enemy attacks

2) Use Spell Totem with a minion spell; likely Summon Skeletons. I assume when a Spell Totem summons Skeletons that those Skeletons will be considered my minions and also benefit from my minion passive tree nodes.

3) Use a different 2nd Skill other than a Spell Totem, such as ...... ?


Any advice for this SRS build regarding Skill Gems would be greatly appreciated.

use zombies and a stone golem to tank for you.

srs as damage dealers.

spell totem with skeletons if you have room for that. i never have. yes they are still your minions and use your minion passives.

you don't need ice nova as minion master. vortex is better for chills if you must use that.

you can use offensive or defensive spectres if you want. or none at all.
