The OP is almost correct. SOME people can do all the content in the game with only 3k life.

This is well known. I used to do uber with 3k life. Build called doeboys Yolowhirl... was yolo indeed lol

See? There is no point to have 6k life pool, since you can facetank shaper with 3k only.
Instead waste point investing in life, invest your points in dmg nodes. |

Hardcore is still a thing, though.
And even if play softcore, it's dispiriting to play a build that dies all the time. It would make leveling frustrating at least, especially if go beyond 90. | |
