They're gone for good. Has been this way ever since original Closed Beta, in order to keep them exclusive. However, you can arrange payment plans with Support if you can't get the funds together in time (I know this comes too late :-().

I could see breaking that rule on Legacy, because it was never really clear when they would end. If you don't check every day, you would have missed it.
