Party Instances

I was playing with a templar: SantoProtecto earlier and while we were playing I'm not sure if he desynced or not but he died and left the party, a minute later he was back in the same instance, but not in a party.
Is this due to the way instances are generated and it was his instance that I was currently in, or are party members supposed to join the same instance even after leaving the party? -Meteoric Destiny!

You'll return to whatever copy of the instance you have open, yeah - Though you can create a new one if you want. We may streamline this later, but it is the best solution at the moment, as it fixes a few other problems.
