About how long does it usually take to get a beta key?

If this doesn't get released soon for a full game then theyare going to miss the boat and everyone will be looking to D3 for their hack'n'slash

I played during the Public Weekend and now im addicted. Too bad i dont have beta key.
They got me addicted to crack then they took all the crack away :( lol |

how, or who, would I ask to get a key? I understand the timer system, but there are other ways? Not sure a contest would be my thing.
