So you are complaining that the Shaper is too easy for a character who swaps between two 6L Shavs and has this warning right at the start of his build guide:

lol exactly, that build only has a +1 skill 6l shavs, and for fun a 2nd to keep his farm speed up, his helm having +2 barrage, and all of his gear being perfectly rolled just for that setup period. It's like well shaper is a bit too easy if you dump 50ex into a character.

not to mention he is relying on instant ES leech, which we know is going away, so right there this build becomes void.
Granted it probably would still work out he just would have to make sure not ot get hit like half the rest of the universe.

Now for all of those "life builds doing it" not really as much, yeah there are a few that can manage to man up and take him down, but even then it's not a pretty fight half the time, and they almost all rely on double dipping to get enough dps to pull it off.
With double dipping gone, no magical tap your vinktars for never die leech mode, shaper going to be down right out a royal pain in arse.

This guy has never done shaper in terms of OP god that pisses me off hes like LET ME LINK A VIDEO OF A GUY WITH GOOD GEAR = THIS IS FUCKING EASY and your like ??????????????

I know ES is getting nerfed, but let me link a ES build Shaper kill as a example.

k. Mate, have you ever done Shaper with life based build? Or even tried? It is far from easy. TBH, some of the mechanics are set for double dip level of DPS, therefore fucking over any build that isn't set for millions of DPS.

The only thing i would take from that is barrage is likely to be nerfed in 3.0 (but maybe not) philophil's gear according to him is worth over 500ex.

I never killed Shaper by myself, because some personal problem, like bad internet connection (115+ ping on my country gateway and 150+ on others), and fact what I like to play a life based builds for which 6k hp is moderate good. Shapers orbs deal about 3-5k damage each, depends of resists and some other mitigation.

But thing that I totaly dislike in Shaper's battle is his vortex DoT, that never disapear from arena during phase, have random spawn and can spawn while bullet hell. This mechanic is totaly DPS-check: more time to kill - more vortex is spawn. In the worst case scenario Shaper can cover by vortexes about 80% of arena.

And third phase have a Shaper's shadow.

So, not. Shaper's battle is not so easy, if you have no %meta_full_over9k_instaleech% build for 150+ exa.

I watched a video of some guy doing hand stand push ups, it was too easy, should be made harder.

If we apply that logic to this thread, we are going nowhere. Can't comment on difficulty of shaper, didn't do him still, as my life builds don't rely on leech.
