Quests in MercilessIssue

When I completed cruel difficulty, I finished all the quests and I took the portal to Twilight Strand on Merciless. I beat it and killed Hillock, and gave in the quest, but problem is, the only quests I was given after that were the optional ones. The main "story quests" were gone, and I have no idea how to fix this. If anyone has an idea of how to fix this, please tell me.

IIRC you don't immediately get "Breaking Some Eggs" when you kill Hillock, you have to go to the mud flats first. It doesn't actually matter though. Quests in this game are handled very flexibly. You don't need to be given the quest to do it - just do the required things and you will complete it.
