Question about essence crafting +3 fire bow

So I am trying to craft a +3 fire gems bow for SRS. I saw a video of a guy on breach league doing this as follows, can somebody confirm that this will still work on legacy?
1) have ilvl 50 short bow 2) essence craft +2 to fire gems, with total of 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes 3) catarina craft suffix "cannot roll attack mods" 4) exalt for guaranteed "paragon" prefix +1 to all gems Specifically has anyone done this in this league? " Far as I understand this should work still. I have done sth similar: Only relevant difference is that my bow had +2 Bows (and the phys flat) on it before. But according to "the list" it is an "attack mod" so it shouldnt matter: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/List_of_mods_affected_by_cannot_roll_attack_mods No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
