Well I think Castlevania 3 is among the best of the franchise, it took everything that was good about the first castlevania and made it better while adding some new components.

Castlevania 2 was of course a bad one but it was a bad executed experience but later on it became the fundation for most castlevania games such as Symphony of the Night. CV2 was badly executed but the idea behind was great.

Remember wd tikis, it made horrible lags in GR for few months for everyone, wizards too, whirlwind barbarians too. Engine is actually awful, so they nerf the game to look fluid.
