I mean nobody can really say they are surprised that GGG nerfed ES this hard. I'm pretty sure that existing gear will only be affected by changes to the base-types, so the mirror ES chest will still be like 950 or something. Other gear probably won't be that much worse either. So I think CI builds with legacy gear will still be close to as good as they are now.
I do want to see how much it'll affect low-life and ES regen tanks. I feel like if anyone in standard is going to get shit on the most by the changes, it'll be them. |

I thought 20%es would go legacy and be nerfed to like 12% not go away completely.

Yeah, I'm pretty surprised that they're removing it entirely. This'll be the only time they've removed a mod since they removed hybrid phys/accuracy mods way back when.
At least they're telling us like a month in advance, good for people who know how to craft good items. Now you just gotta make heaps of legacy ES rings and sell them in 3.0 ;^) |
