 (T15 Full sextant'd Courtyard- lvl92) Hi all. Had a bad idea that I ended up making into what is surprisingly a really fun build. I blame Path of Building in encouraging me to try this out, and its better than expected. That said, my expectations were really low. Let's consult the 'Memebuild' checklist -- this was the partial motivation for putting this build together in the first place--: ☑ Scion/Ascendant in 2017 lel ☑ Life based in 2017 lel ☑ Mjolner in 2017 lel ☑ Cast On Crit in 2017 lel ☑ Shades of old 'Rainbownuke' builds with much less power Combine them all together, and you get something that's really fun to play. Unless you spec an entirely different tree, you forgo getting Vaal Pact for wearing Acuities. Great synergy with this particular build with the life + crit chance + 60-80 int! Voll's Protector and Voll's Devotion required to get the most consistent discharge. Could change discharge for something else (although I dont know why you would). The +1 curse Voll's Devotion absolutely not required. Most of the time I do not need Warlord's Mark leech as when I have 'killed recently', I have 1.4 life and .4 mana leech on all damage. Use Vinktar and there's really no need in Warlords. I have stuck with it to this point because I think it gives the extra boost in endurance charges. I bought the Cospri's with Culling on it, but you could go for one with cold leech corruption, and get a culling strike mjolner. Haven't found a 3BBB corrupted mjolner with lightning leech. Although it's pretty minuscule, the goal is to be as independent of Vinktar's as possible and every little bit helps! Any eva or armor base with the discharge enchant is pretty much highly recommended. You could get away without it, but it IS noticeable, esp. against bosses! Tree currently -level 93:

(Disclaimer: The true 'old' type of CoC is dead, but the spell spam feels as close as you're going to get) Discharge currently with 7 power, 4 endurance 3 frenzies (Going to shoot for another endurance and frenzy charge) Crit Multi for discharge/arc currently (With jewels) -471% Life: 6310 (level 93- 174% on tree) Boot enchant for Life/Mana leech Utilizing wormflask to keep 'on kill recently' leech from Berserker ascendancy up at all times. So, 2.4% life/mana leech at all times, moves to 3.4% life leech when I've killed recently. Uses Atziri's Acuity gloves for instant crit leech Currently swapping between Ele Weakness/Warlords Mark and Ele Weakness/Poachers Mark (can't decide what feels better) Able to sustain blood rage with no degen -- and running a green dream south of scion start. My twitch is http://www.twitch.tv/xxdjdrewxx Currently doing red maps at lvl 86 and feels pretty good (to me). While I won't say that it's a *good* or top tier build, it's definitely fun and brings a bit of the CoC/Fakener/Rainbownuke nostalgia without the hyper blink-and-you'll-finish-the-map clearspeed of Cospri's Shield Charge. I don't personally like the full re-re clearspeed where you can't at least stop/breath for a split second. The downside to this build, if someone wanted to do this build and really liked the assassin cospri's shield charge builds that are out there, is that you have to use whirling blades to move around-- great for movement but you have to rely on cyclone to get everything going. I originally had a lvl 90 Berseker that I had done Warchief totems with-- and had a mjolner, bought a cospri's and wanted to make something really silly. Thats when this particular build started for me. I did level Zerker from 90-92 with DW Mjolner/Cospri's but the spell damage was severely lacking. The leech was great, but after theorycrafting and using Path of Building, Scion (Assassin/Zerker combo w/ shadow start), at lvl 92 had TWICE the amount of damage that my lvl 92 zerker had with very similar HP (6.2k) Still tweaking everything but at this point, every level gives a noticeable boost. | |

Upgraded my belt to include +1 endurance charge.
Ended up dropping 5% life on tree to spec into +30 strength in order to be able to equip the belt I purchased. About 70% through level 93, feeling REALLY good. | |

I appreciate the suggestion and I did consider it, but there are a few factors here, Death's Door only has up to 15% all res, no life roll, dependent on getting boot enchant for leech. The +1 endurance charge and no bleed is obviously nice but getting resist capped, stat capped , and getting enough life to not feel completely feel terrible make it really not a great option.
With required unique DW weapons, amulet, gloves and chest.... makes a slot where you can wear a rare and tailor it to what exactly you need is crucial. Death's Door is pretty good these days in traditional Cospri's builds and even Mjolner builds, but for now, I'm gonna at least say you would need stats and resist on jewels to reach resist cap, and suffer with life being lower. | |

one more suggestion/question as im no good in this. What about using Frenzy on bosses instead of cyclone? I assume that would increase your single-target damage a lot.
