I got a ancestral warchief double totem chieftain and finally got the cash to buy one of those weapons

if doing totems, I'd go with the axe.

Elemental Damage is a major component of most end game physical dps builds, because Hatred, Added Fire Damage, Herald of Ash, etc scale off of your physical damage
