[3.0] ||| JUGGERNAUT ||| SSJ3 | Mjolner - Discharger / Max Block - Aegis ; Tri curse

Hello again,

Back with a new, stronger, faster, more reliable version of an already decent build.

This build is not made to consume time, energy and currency, but do bare in mind that it's VERY SPECIFIC and can be a little bit expensive (not skyforth + headhunter expensive, but still ...), Legacy Aegis / Red nightmare Jewel / +1 curse voll's / 6l kingsguard - all add up to roughly 20 ex at this time in Legacy League.

It has very little usage of yellow items (3 to be exact, and those are pretty specific too). Nothing can be altered if you want the full potential of the build (of course, as most of the builds, it has weaker versions, but we don't care about those, right ?).

We will be running a Juggernaut for several reasons :
1. 25% chance to gain max endurance charges
1.1. charge generation is NOT a problem, we can even run Immortall Call without a problem.
2. fortify buffs
3. armour gained from chest doubled - stacks good with Aegis
4. more maximum endurance charges

Skill Tree @ lvl 95

Bandits : Skill points

Pantheon : Soul of Solaris + its Upgrades -> good mitigation against critical strikes.
Soul of Ralakesh + its Upgrades -> Maim / Blind immune and 25% lower damage over time

Skill Tree makes use of 2 very powerful and useful unique jewels :

1. Reckless Defense - we need 5 of those - preferably rolled at 4% chance to block each
2. The Red Nightmare Jewel - see tree for placement (it offers 13% block chance and a noticeable amount of chance to gain an End charge on kill)

Theory and Practice :

If you put together the tree and the items + cwdt - tempest shield you will come to a total of :

*75/75% block chance
*3x curses -> elemental weakness / flammability (since most damage comes from discharging endurance charges) and the 3rd -> i prefer enfeeble -> it's up to you if you choose leech or anything else.
* bleed immune
* 80 / 84 / 79 resistances
* 4xx hp rgen
* 4xx ES gained on Block (only half if you use normal Aegis, make an effort, buy a 4% one.)

We cast the curses by linking them with Curse on Hit -> Cyclone + Fortify, thus, having all 3 curses at once. As an add-on, we also use Elemental Equilibrium, thanks to
, without the COLD damage added to attacks, it wouldn't work. Why ? Because our Discharge only deals Fire and Lightning damage, thus, the only way to obtain -50 resistances bonus from Elemental Equilibrium is to have some Cold Damage.

These 3 effects (3x curses + EE) add up to a total of -150 ish fire resistance for enemies.

Leveling
Spoiler
Doesn't matter, just get it done, and spec into it when you have at least level 84
and the needed Gear.

Level 94+

The skill tree leaves and puts us in a position of goodies everywhere, HP is welcomed and even armour.

If you are unsatisfied with the damage output, or you would like some more "Chaos resistance friendly items", you can get the Elementalist Skill Tree Node (12% all resistances / 10% increased elemental damage / 5% chance to freeze, shock ignite that should be 3 points away from our current location.

Current Stats ->

Damage on Discharge-> 9 end charges / 3 power charges (we know that it can discharge 4 times / sec due to mjolner and that we get 25% chance to get max Endurance Charges)

No Repentance Gloves ?! -> Focus on this after you've mastered the above.
Spoiler

In my pursuit of tankyness, i tried pulling some chaos resist, goal being somewhere around 50%
chaos resist ... so I made the following modifications :

The gloves : the dex and int allowed me to drop the 30int, 30str and 30dex nodes in the tree and drop "Art of Gladiator" in the tree (duelist area - inc accuracy / dex ), thus freeing 5 skill tree points and adding, from the Templar Area, 2x 8% elemental dmg nodes and "Elementalist" tree node (12% ele res / 12% ele dmg/ 5% chance to freeze/ignite/shock) + Light of Divinity (15% spell dmg / +10 int and str ), we got to move one of the jewels from the Templar area to the Marauder area.

You can find the "new" skill @ lvl 96 tree here :

Now, my question is, are the Repentance Gloves really worth it ? In the idea that we can go for some decent Legion Gloves with some attributes for those pesky Mjolner requirements ? Would Repentance Gloves buff of ~80 spell dmg be really that worth it (after we get those 5 other dmg points in tree, it would actually be a ~38 spell dmg difference (if we scale elemental and spell dmg the same)

What do we gain / lose after all ?
Loss :
- Armour / ES as long as a decent pair is hard to find
- ~38 spell dmg

Gain :
- More HP (200 to be exact)
- More Chaos Res (releases poisonous clouds no longer hurt ... at all <3)
- more room for resistances and the opportunity of scaling other items more easily
- less int requirements
- 5% chance to freeze / ignite / shock -> combined with the 14% chance to ignite from flammability, we get a decent 1/5 discharges ignite that scales really good in boss fights

So, no, Repentance are not worth for the very end of end games.

Please, let me know what you guys think.

If you get to lvl 85-90 and then spec into it, sure, but you would probably want to use warlord's mark + enfeeble for HC.
I've being playing this build for about 2 weeks. It is awesome, very tanky and the damage is good.

Best build I've played so far also the most expensive.
