Syrian Situation

They gotta keep the war machine moving along. Any luck, they will "accidentally" hit the Russians and we'll be rid of some US cities.

They coordinated with the Russians, told them to move the fuck away. No casualties. Still feels shitty.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

2 hours before the air strike happened Hillary said she would do exact same thing. God damnit.

I keep voting anti-war and it keeps not mattering.

I'm with the OP. WTF is actually happening over there?

Not Syria, Russia. But that's kinda the same thing since Syria and Russia are allies.

Essentially, the US needs permanent wars to have their economy rolling, due to so much of it coming from sale of weapons. So they sell weapons to every groups that want them while trying as hard as possible to make it a stalemate to maximize production/profit. And since the gun industry is behind funding of both major parties in the US (and I,m sure there's a loooot of bribing going on with senators and other influential members of the government, it never ends).

Syria is simply the next place where weapons sell well because you have lots of conflicting groups that fight each other for the control of the area.

Eisenhower warned everyone about this like 60 years ago. The military industrial complex, run by the deep state, is bigger than the White House. Meme magic has officially reached its limits.

Can someone with more knowledge on the conflict explain this to me?

As for the immediate action, a nation repeatedly violated international law that explicitly prohibits the stockpiling and deployment of chemical weapons.

The strike was condemned by UN security council, UNICEF, and many others. The attack compels action according to the leading international body.

The United States responded with a surgical strike from the Mediterranean, because nobody else can (good news: Navies can't invade so we ain't yet "committed").

As for the larger game (Egypt, Jordan, China, North Korea, Russia), it's way beyond anything the media can get across. Who the hell knows.
