What is the best ascendancy for RF?

Guardian, Trickster? Or someone else?

As far as I'm aware:

Occultist is good for damage output, but is weakest against Hexproof.

Trickster is a nice balance between damage and survivability (Damage from ease of ES RF, with ES being easier to get super high compared to Life)

Inquisitor is pretty decent all rounder (Can go either Life or ES to boot)

Guardian can become quite tanky, but doesn't get much in the way of damage (That I can recall anyway)

Cheiftain seems to be getting fairly popular this League as you might imagine with their affinity for regen and fire damage. Pretty much Life only though (You could try and ES I guess? But that's a lot of points to travel over to those nodes)

I've built a fairly good RF Chieftain with this baby:



Just stack Life and STR, GG.

I actually have 90lvl chieftain build for ancestral warchief so I could spec out easily, but this char is quite good, even made 1 guardian(1st attempt) so I don't wanna mess it up.


As this gem states character ignites for 90% of life and only 70% of es. That looks like to me that ES build is much better and easier to sustain.

Chieftain is also good with RF totems. Can get around 12K Totem life.
