I'll be totally blunt, I don't think you understand how the economy works nor what it is you're really asking for, much less the ramifications of your suggestion. It sounds much more like you're jealous of what people have accumulated in standard and you want to elevate yourself by bringing them down arbitrarily. You also haven't suggested anything that would prevent the exact same thing from happening again in the future.

What useless Zana mods can do ...

Ask why people would use Chaos. They can get all the items they would ever want by trading. The "cost" of crafting is higher than the market price. They can roll maps... but really don't need to since builds are becoming powerful enough to take on most yellow maps as they come. So... in all seriousness... what are people using chaos orbs for?

It won't makes exalts cheaper, certainly not in the short run. the exalt base would have to be rebuilt from drops and from new temp leagues. the dearth of exalts might shake up currency and item trading in standard and cause standard to have less influence on the temp leagues. I'd like to see what would happen if the temp leagues were free from Standard influence where all the bad acts and policies of the past reside. What if characters and items migrated to Standard, but not currency? use it or lose it?

What are the ramifications that you see?
