Stat scaling items VS POTCG

Some of them were born powerful:
HOWA
Whispering Ice

Other were tweaked to be good:
Goefri's chest
Brutus lead sprinkler
Shaper's touch

But through all these buffs and tweaks to older/lacking items, one was forgotten

The first Stat Scaling unique item that GGG released



When you see People Literally raping endgame content with Howa,Whispering ice, Brutus sprinkler

and you look at POTCG that with heavy investment scarcely deal damage you realize something is off

not to mention that POTCG is a staff, therefor you can only have 1 in use

Note: Im not saying that POTCG should be as OP as HOWA and Sprinkler, no those should be nerfed, but atleast make it be worth the investment


So POTCG should be on the list for a buff like 2.6 did or atleast a fated version

By what i see while playing they cannot go lower than the 0% i already have

I mean, I made a very fancy build with this staff during prophecy and it did fine. With the tweaks to other items and also with new items in general I think this staff is pretty legit. I don't know, maybe I'm not quite understanding what you mean. I do feel like the item is fine where it is though, maybe the base damage or aps can be increased a bit but thats about it.

Pillar is one of my favorite items to build around, and it'd be awesome to see it get some love.

About 4 years from now, players new to the game are going to be saying

Oh the cycle. But for real if PotCG ever gets buffed I'll be at the front of the line to build around it. Always wanted to, never pulled the trigger - other, more alluring things were always beckoning.

Whats wrong with PotG?

Last time i played with it was when they released the "warden" rings and it could tackle up to tier 12+- quite easily.

Or you want it to be shaper viable or some such?
(which it probably is with correct gearing and player-skill)

Give it 1-2 physical flat per character lvl and laugh at the absurdity?

I'd recommend trying it if you like to play multiple characters. It's not great for high end maps, but gets through everything up to there just fine and opens up a lot of builds that usually involve too much pathing around the tree or needs too many jewels to be effective. The Baron was a great addition this league. I've been playing around with a necromancer that uses ground slam and zombies, and its been great so far.
