IGNITE based ICE CRASH Chieftain - theorie crafting

Hey guys,
i thought about a build and i am not sure if it will work.

Tha basic idea is, that ice crash converts 50% of phys dmg to cold dmg.
The Key Stone Avatar of Fire converts 50% of all dmg types to fire dmg.

I am not sure how this works exactaly. My thoughts are the following:

100%phys becomes 50% cold and 50% phys through Ice-Crash.
Now I am not sure how Avatar of fire will work. Will it:
a) convert the remaining 50% phys to fire and the 50% cold to fire.
b) it will convert just the 50% phys dmg to fire.
c) it will convert half of the phys dmg and half of the cold dmg to fire, so i end up with 25% phys 50% fire 25% cold

If i somehow end up with only elemental damage I would like to convert as much of it to fire as possible (for ex. with pyre), and then use Emberwake together with razor of the seventh sun to get a lot of ignites and life recovery.

The answer is a)

You will end up with 100% conversion to fire thereby not suffering from the later half of the keystone.
