Vaal Oversall

I used a portal scroll like I do before every boss fight just in case I do something dumb. While I was killing the Vaal Oversall I used the portal so that I could go back to refill my flasks. Whilst on the loading screen it lagged out and I was sent to the login screen. When I logged back in I was dead.
Has anyone had this problem before?
Can GGG resurrect my character after some investigation into my characters death?
Please help!
