At what level should I stop vendoring yellow items?

I'm new to game.

In chat people told me to just vendor yellow items I cant use at early levels. Someone said eventually you dont do this as there is the chance you can get something useful from these items. Anyone know what level I should stop vendoring yellow items?

When you start needing bonus stats from yellow items. Check for the number of sockets and links. I usually keep 4-5 linked sockets, and store 6 sockets (not fully linked) for crafting or player trading.

Take a look at section Multiple Rare items. That should answer all your question.

Never stop this. The only one difference will be, that you will keep good items for you or trade with other players and sell to vendors everything else.

If you are just picking all loot from monsters - you can stop it now, this is waste of a time.

Depends on who you ask. Sometimes people store their rares to trade in full sets for an orb.

The chaos recipe kicks in at Ilvl=60, and the Regal recipe at Ilvl=75.

You beat me to the 2 recipes that I keep unIDed rares for.

Edit: Just keep 1 tab of unIDed rares. Since you will end up with tons more than you will need since the rings and amulets are gated behind lower rng drop chance you can id most of the other rare gear to see if there is anything good. Unless you are serious (seriously crazy) about trying to 5L or 6L a 6S item you can vendor them for the jewelers.
