Can you help me for node : elemental equalibrium ( french ^^ possible ?)

I have a question for a mechanic.
If you can anwser me to french language, it'll better for me, but i'll can try to read english ofc ;-).


So, this is my question (and sry for my english [ i say that all post :-D]), if i take "elemental equalibrium), and i play burning arrow, i shot with burning arrow, so all mob have +25% res fire, but i put "orb of storm" after, so, mob will have lightning dmg for a few time, so -50 to my burning ? But they still burning .. so +25 res fire/burning ??

I don't understand this node, and i think it can be good.

I want play burning arrow for my first charater lagacy, so i need anwser for do not shit ^^.

Non, only hits activate Elemental Equilibrium (EE).

I don't understand this node, and i think it can be good.

Il y a des situations where it can be good. Damage over time doesn't activate EE, so any build based mainly on damage over time (not chaos) would be good, like Scorching Ray or Righteous Fire. Je ne sais pas Burning Arrow peut etre tres strong with EE, je ne tried it jamais.
