Persistence with chat whisper between leagues

I know that Cooterz had asked for this in a Q&A with Twitch streamer and was basically given a blow-off response but do you know ***fucking*** annoying it is to switch leagues for quick trade only find out you can't remember the person's character name who whispered to you or what item they were looking for?

Cooterz, you're not alone.

If you haven't ever done this once, you don't know how F annoying it is. Big waste of time because you don't actually make the trade and the other person has to try to find what they were asking for in the first place. If players don't know there isn't persistence chat, they figure you blew them off or that you're crazy because you don't know they wanted.

So, as QoL, can chat persistence between leagues with respect to at least whispers be added?
