But thanks for the link. It was fun to look at the diagram and pretend I had the slightest clue what it meant. Do you know what ALU/AGU is? And am I reading the chart right in hearing that it says it uses multiple operations for single threaded processes? How does that deal with precedence issues? Is that what the prediction stuff is for? What happens when the predictions fail?

Something like that. PoE OT tends to curate different content than Google does, and there's some psychological bias towards accepting a human's recommendations over a machine's (or is it vice versa for some people?).

EDIT: Also, Google may sometimes return videos instead of articles and I'm not in a video mood right now! I usually am not. But I guess this method isn't foolproof in that respect either, given GeorgAnatoly's choice :P

The linley group article doesn't have a reference to the author's youtube discussion so I linked you an article that had both, two birds and whatnot.
