You CAN NOT give D3 beta keys to anyone unless you give them your Battle.net account. They give your battle.net account access to the beta. Anyone saying that they will give you a key is lying. You have to have or had an active account like Wow, Warcraft or Starcraft account linked to your battlenet account to be able to even opt in for D3 beta.

Then tell me why there is d3 beta giveaways?

Here is/was one for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMnST0IN2r8

How do I opt-in?

To be considered for upcoming betas, you must create a beta profile (see below) and indicate the preferences for which betas you wish to participate in. Once you have successfully uploaded a beta profile, the associated Battle.net account is added to a pool of potential beta testers for upcoming Blizzard Entertainment games.

Note: you must have one of the following Blizzard titles registered to your Battle.net account in order to qualify:

World of Warcraft
StarCraft II
Diablo II
Warcraft III
StarCraft Anthology

I would guess that they have a deal worked out with blizzard so they can activate an account if you win.

Well, still there is beta key giveaways. So stop say that there isnt such things as keys, because there is.
You get you battle.net account activated for the beta. You aren't given a beta key, so trading a beta key is not an option thats all im trying to tell people so beware of people tying to trade you.
Well my client just finished downloading so im off to try out this beta. Cya in game.
Sorry to say buddy but trading your key is against the rules so you technically should be the player banned.
Saying you were saving it for a contest is also bull, unless some random guy, randomly messaged you and said "If you happen to have a friend key I will gladly trade you a D3 beta key for it". I do not see that as possible since you were "saving it" therefor you were the only person to know you have it.

Fail OP....epic fail.

Should have just started a contest if you really wanted to give back to the community, instead of trying to get something out of it.

True

I'd like to know how you activate a D3 beta key then, seems like a big mysterie to me =)))

@majestykingmob: Shut up? umad? And yes i was saving it, i was planing a giveaway or contest.

@moos: Ofc there is keys.

The only keys for D3 are friends and family.

If someone claims to give one away, they are dishonest in more than one way.

I lent my battle.net account away (with d3 beta on it) to someone for a key to PoE, however. But made it clear it was temporary. This has not led to any drama, and I think we're both happy with the deal.
"That's how you die properly, Sailor Boy.."
Yes its against the rules to start a thread which says "i want to trade my poe key for d3 beta" which i didnt.

Well, i guess force2strategy, huntersc and those guys are scammers then, becuase they have had d3 beta key giveaway several times.

I should be banned? its not me who scam ppl and making mulitple accs and useless threads, being rude, and having a bad attitude.
