Link steam account for trading

Hello everyone !
First of all, I am a noob so if my question is simple, please don't crucify me ! I have a question about trading and another one about linking my account. I discovered poe.trade for trading stuff. Since I'm still a noob, I tried to create an offer on that website. The site told me : " and " Of I went on my profile here and checked and here is what i see (profile is not set as private): [URL=http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=815311profile.jpg][IMG]http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/815311profile.jpg[/IMG][/URL] So i followed the rules even though my profile was not set on private. I received an email with a link. But the problem is that when I first tried to play to poe in 2013, my account name was Monarque and the game was not linked to steam. Now that i try to play again, I do it from my steam account which name is different. So i don't know if linking my account is relevant since it seems that it will link my old accound and my new one together. Do you still follow me ? If i do link my two accound together (since they have the same email adress), will poe.trade will work for me ? And if i do it and see that it doesn't work, is there a way to unlink my account ? This isn't an account linking issue. You're just logging into the wrong account.

In fact, you were both right about the log in problem. However, i still have the problem on poe.trade. The website tells me that my profile is still set to private, tough i don't get why. => I loged in from my steam account on this forum, => I checked and refresh poe.trade => I tried to manage my shop from there : http://currency.poe.trade/shop => I read the "privacy profile" message => I try to set it to public But on my steam account, my profile is not set to private. the box is unchecked. I don't get where i got it wrong... Any idea or solution ? (thanks in advance for your help) |

Please understand that PoE.Trade is a fansite, and that GGG employees won't necessarily be able to help you with problems you have using a website created by somebody else.
You were posting from the Monarque account when you created this thread initially. Thus, you associated your shop on PoE.Trade with that account. The PoE.Trade website has no way of knowing that you've since stopped using that account and are logging in as LeMonarque instead. Thank you, Sarno, for awnsering me. I do get it that poe.trade is not made by GGG employes, but I didn't know how to post there. That's why I came here since the links at to bottom of the page lead to this forum.And I know the community is really willing to help. It's not a toxic community like on other games.
That said, I want to personnaly thank you. It sounds stupid now that I found the solution, but i forgot to log out > log in with my steam account. At first, I completly forgot where to do that. I found it in the PoE currency shop. Then, even tough my profile was not private, I unchecked all my privacy settings because the error message was still there, and now poe.trade seems to work perfectly. Problem solve. We can archive this topic. Thanks everyone for your help ! (and sorry for my noobism. I still have loads of things to learn and english is not my motherlanguage ^^ ) |
