That plays well with a lot of builds. IMO 40 Ex isnt awful. Prices for rare gear are really kind of arbitrary. They are worth what you will pay. Whether that is a 30 ex helm, a 40 Ex helm, or more. It is great, and hard to imagine finding something to upgrade it into. Dont kick yourself. I dont think it is a foolish purchase.

You probably overpaid a bit, but 500 es on a helm with int and 2 resists is really, really good.
The enchant is pretty bad unless you're actually doing frostbolt, but I suppose you can run uberlab to get a better one. | |

i did some search on web and this one was the best - quality/price....back then. Now when i take a close look, seems like too expensive :/
