Hand Crossbow/Pistol Wand Effect

Aside from people drawing comparisons to Van Helsing... Would feel like a Hand Crossbow/Flintlock Pistol would be applicable without too much worry on bad-looking animations for them and since Wanders haven't been getting much love lately... wouldn't this be an alright looking skin? I mean I'd probably pick up two of them in a heartbeat.
