Macroing, is it allowed? if not, why?

exacly like the title said,
i searched in the forum and reddit for some answer but nothing conclusive

using macro for like use all your flasks at once with a single button press is something banneble?
also using one button to auto open a portal and enter in it?

resuming, one button for multiple commands are allowed? if not, why exacly? i'm so curious >.<

Basically GGG doesn't want anyone to gain appreciable advantage over non-macro-users with macros. So anything that performs more then one game action, or uses a timer, is not permitted.
