Splitscreen on XBOX

So, now that there is an XBOX version coming, is there any chance we'll see some kind of splitscreen for it?

That was always the best part of console gaming as a kid. Being able to play in person with friends was quite the experience. Maybe GGG could do something similar to what D3 did with their "couch co-op" to let people play together in-person?

I don't care for consoles myself, but my girlfriend prefers them to PC and I would love to be able to play on the couch together.
