My brain ain't built for cryptography or whatever the hell it's called. I, too, had to look up a guide for my second claw (I got really lucky with the first claw)

Oh, LOL, I get it now. T-rex couldn't grab the golden claw. Even with grabbers, because it's an oddly shaped object. You could try using your own claw, and turning the puzzle with your nose. Process of trial and error, you'll get there eventually.

I looked up what this was, i didn't know this was "a thing", what exactly did you find difficult about it?

" Yes, locks that needed a golden key (claw) to open and you had to have the correct sequence of three images large, medium and small Butterfly, Bear, Owl, Snake, Whale etc. Being a golden lock, the correct sequence should have been Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear for at least one of the locks. IIRC, you can zoom in on the back of the claw in your inventory and it shows you the sequence
