[2.5] BSC Proximi's True bleed EQ Zerg build, CI Two-hander, Shaper viable, Uber atziri farmer

I‘m back with another weird build that actually works very well! Here are some similar builds that i've found (life based):

Build explanation:
The idea behind the build was to use disfavour to the maximum extent. Disfavour has a mod +2 levels of support gems which works great with gems like enhance, empower and enlighten and currently the best active gems to use it with are curses.

Vulnerability curse gets 0,5% More physical dmg per quality and temp. chains gets 0,5% slower per quality. So 25/60 vulnerability and temp chains - lvl 6 empower/enhance goes up to 62% More bleed double dipping phys dmg and 62% slower. Now heres the reason i went CI - curse nodes are scattered on the skill tree the way that only CI can connect them.

+ you get scion area jewels and since you don’t need life rolls you can focus purely on double dipping dmg increases.

From jewels and phys dmg increase nodes in shadow area we get about 500% phys Double dipping dmg increase, about 150% not double dipping phys dmg and 300% chaos double dipping inc. (norse bleed build for example has only 80% double dipping inc and 450% non double dipping dmg inc.)

Defence:
primary: defence is of course temporal chains with maximized effect
secondary: basalt, fortify, vaal pact combined with zerg leech and ghost reaver

Uul-Netol's Embrace:
Is a 2hander axe with higher x-y than disfavour but without support level and with lower aps. I use it in cheaper version. The axe has a mod: Attack with level 20 Bone Nova when you Kill a Bleeding Enemy. do not get fooled by it! it's worthless does barely any dmg and it scales only with supports with tags: projectile, attack, physical (physical projectile support, added fire, chain, pierce, slower/faster proj, gmp etc.) even fully supported dmg is still laughable. I'm a SC Scrub so idk, my build is designed the way that i can carry t15 6man party which means that you can sacrifice a lot of dmg in favour of energy from within cluster, es nodes in scion/witch wheel - you could go up to like 9k es and together with temp chains, you wouldn't be able to die while solo. I wouldn't go with the build against the shaper, uber atziri, minotaur and chimera on hc.

What actually is double dipping?

In POE we have damage over time or DoT, that is scaled from initial hit (EQ and Aftershock in this case). We are interested in two DoT effects Bleed and Poison.

Bleed does 10% of initial phys dmg hit per sec if the target is standing still or 60% of initial hit if the target is moving or if he is being knocked back. Bleed is a Physical dmg over time. Bleed duration is 5s and enemy can have only one Bleed dot active at a time and always the strongest dot overrides the weaker ones.

Poison always does 8% of initial phys and chaos dmg hit per sec. Enemy can have up too 300 poison stacks. Each poison stack lasts 2s

Double dipping: works the way that some dmg increases and more multipliers on gear / tree / jewels / gems aplies twice: to the initial hit and the damage over time caused by initial hit.

Double dip mods for bleed:
phys. dmg, Area dmg, Damage and Projectile dmg

For poison:
Chaos dmg, Area dmg, Damage and Projectile dmg

What doesn't double dip:
Phys dmg with melee weapon/two handed weap, axe etc., Melee dmg, Attack dmg, phys dmg from strength


Cons:
Map mods to skip:
Phys reflect (you can go around by swapping vuln curse for hatred)
Curse less effect and hexproof
No leech
Extra tedious Bosses: Chimera, minotaur (They are doable with easy map mods)
Shaper only viable (the build can do shaper but it’s by no mean shaper farmer – not always deathless)

Leveling:
The best option – shield charge Facebreakers:
Pick up marauders starting phys dmg nodes -> go for RT then scion life wheel and from that point start to follow my sklil tree (picking up doubledipping jewels which also works perfectly well with facebreaker)
By lvl 60 when i got to merc dried lake, i had something like 80k pure phys dps on warchief totem.

Mapping:
Super good mapping build! You can carry 6man parties up too t15
Strat: use your 4link eq to oneshot everything that is not a boss, no need to swap any gems during mapping
Link for boss: EQ, melee phys, Less duration, Melee phys on full life, rapid decay, conc

Uber Lab:
Make sure you have flasks up to one shot izaro.
EQ, melee phys, Less duration, Melee phys on full life, rapid decay, conc

Guardians:
Phoenix and hydra peace of cake (link same as izaro). Chimera and minotaur annoying af let your totem do the dirty job (link same as shaper).

Shaper:
He’s standing still – no bleed action + tons of life. Make sure you know the mechanics of the fight.

Uber atziri:
Trash – facetank
Vaals – same
Trio – kill titty bitch first
Uber atziri – let your totem do the dirty work – you just focus on dodging stuff

if you can't afford dying sun i would swap shadows phys/chaos nodes for templars aoe nodes (used to have it before dying sun and it works great)

i used 6link for single target (with concentrated effect) and 4 link for general clear (inc aoe) so that i don't need to swap gems while mapping

for mapping i used 6 link for bosses only, everything else died instantly from the 4link (if you look at any of my video 4link has fortify 6link doesn't, so every time fortify is refreshed i used 4link)

i swapped 6link eq for warchief totem only on shaper, uber atziri and chimera every where else 6 link eq

I Highly recommend not to start league with this build - CI berserker, you need to acquire ES gear first!

i would start with any life based version, run first week uber labs and then reroll as CI berserker if thats your goal. GL in wreaclast exile

Is there a reason for not using "Two-Handed Phys. Damage" or "increased Phys. Damage on Axes" modifiers on your jewels? It should be easy to get much higher damage out of them, than with the ~10% "increased Damage" or am I wrong?

i focused on getting as much dmg from bleed as possible which means as much double dipping action as possible and prety much everything that has weapon or attack in it's name doesn't double dip.

double dip: you scale both initial hit and damage over time effect

example i have 100 base damage and 10% damage increase that double dip
100 x 1,1 = 110 -> bleed (60% of hit if monster is moving per sec for 5s) 110 x 0,6 = 66 x 1,1 = 72,6 x 5 = 363
total 363 + 110 = 473

with 16% phys. damage with axes
100 x 1,16 = 116 -> bleed 116 x 0,6 = 69,6 x 5 = 348
348 + 116 = 464

edit. let's say i have 1000 base and 500% double dipping increase vs 500% non double dipping inc.
then initial hit 6000 and 108000 dot vs 18000 dot

Hi again,
I am currently using the build and I don't see how you manage to pull it off with only 4% free mana. I have just over 1k mana so i have 40 mana free. My EQ costs 41 mana and my flame golem costs 54 mana so I am forced to use a gem that hives me 2% reduced mana reserved so I can cast my golem and spell. Orb of storms is also 42 mana cost. Am I missing something?
Also: will using lvl 4 enlighten help reducing the mana reserved

oh i see there is a bug, rapid decay should be the 6th link-> 38 mana

I didn't use golem, cause i don't like to resummon. eq 4 link setup cost 18mana which is what i was using while maping (4link even with fortify still one shots all rares and rogue exiles) and the 6link only for bosses, it should one shot all up to guardians.

for each guardian, uber atziri and shaper i used different setup (some are immune, some don't move etc.)

trick with orb of storms is to keep it on lvl 1 or low lvl, it will cost 12mana and it will still cull (we don't scale spell dmg).

i know 4% isn't much but if you watch the underground river video for example i have 42 unreserved mana and i was doing fine
