flicker - discharge? good or bad idea?

so i was thinking about flicker strike and discharge, I saw with 2.4 that discharge got a nerf and i havent really seen any discharge builds recently.

flicker strike has a tendancy to desync and discharge has a tendancy to lagg, would this idea actually be possible?

i was thinking about going scion, and taking raider and slayer.

would discharge be unnecessary with flicker?

i dont know anything about building a character. this was just an idea i had. i dont even know how to build the tree?

Just realized that both discharge and flicker consumes frenzy charges which would mean cooldown om flicker and making this idea stupid and unplayable so ignore this.
actually it would work with melee splash, volls protector, max crit (or Trypanon), and some reliable frenzy charges on kill generation. would work best with high crit Discharge..

could somehow work with romira's too.

Although you would have to use something else against single target

Terminus Est would also be an option.

Nah it can totally work.

Use Teminus Est -> Oro's Sacrifice.

Then you have multiple paths from there.

Oro and Chieftan might be interesting if you do not want to make a crit build.
Could grab Avatar of Fire and use cold to fire in your links.

Another thing to consider is a 3-4L with Blade Vortex, Increased Duration, CwdT/Spell Echo, and Chance to ignite if you went Chief. This will make sure you generate charges and maintain them easily.

I did a Terminus Est CoC Blade Vortex Assassin myself. It used Viper Strike and I think 3 or 4 Growing Agony. Flicker and Blade Vortex applied a ton of poison stacks fast, then viper strike nuked. Definitely my favorite build to date even though I could not afford to gear it even close to properly. Just throwing this in if you are looking for a similar playstyle.
A kid with a magnifying glass. . . looming down on the anthill. Eventually one is going to get you.

use raider, use ice bite support on both the flicker and the discharge, have poacher's mark (for ES chars) or Blood Rage (for life) and there you have it, so much frenzy sustain. on single target just change ice bites to hypothermia or have a cyclone setup.
another option could be building around this boots

do you mean http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Red_Trail?

anyways

i tried it with hiltless, it doesnt self bleed so i'm guessing scold's bridle won't self bleed too, i might be wrong on this tho.

it cant. reflect damage does not carry any properties. and damage from scolds etc is only "damage" and the boots specify that the hit has to be an attack..

anyways the situation where there is no attacker willing to hit you should be not that common. the mobs are often mixed and the occasional groups of mages (as well as standalone casters) would require some backup plan.. the build would require close focus on the boots (no hit avoidance, with good phys mitigation..).

I was thinking about something like that already and my first plan would be to use leap slam to jump in and unleash the madness once the bleed is triggered
