What do you think about the new Brutus' Lead Sprinkler?

Thanks!

With 800 STR it should give a bit over 400 dps, so it is certainly interesting. But as the weapon doens't have any phys dmg to speak of I think some changes to the skill tree would be in order if this is used, and replacing the inc Melee Phys gem with something else.

Due to mechanics of Magma Balls, you should not run Melee Physical Damage in Molten Strike's links.

Added Fire, Faster Attacks and Physical Projectile Attack Damage are at your service.
Or Life Gain on Hit for another layer of regen.

While melee phys isn't as great as weapon elemental dmg, it still increases the dmg of the projectiles as the base hit is increased. But after checking the values in Path of Building Added fire is the better option.

I honestly believe this is not true. Here's the quote from Wiki:
"
Modifiers that require the keywords Melee, Projectile, or AoE only apply to the appropriate portions of the attack. For example, supporting Molten Strike with Melee Physical Damage Support will increase the damage of the melee hit but not the projectiles.

Skill tree links seem to be broken.

I am doing similar build but with brutus's lead sprinklers. The damage is good but I changed the tree a bit to remove physical damage nodes. I see you are recommending either ancestral warchief or protector. Isnt warchief kinda bad because it buffs your melee but you really care about those fat molten balls?

I'd probably go for the protector myself as the AS gives dmg and survivability for the build. However, In most encounters I found myself not putting up the totem as either the boss died fast enough or the totem got wrecked by the boss (which in part was me and bad totem placement).

Haha I was hoping you would provide some good counter argument because I really enjoy AW sound more (the Th-hunk). Also lol at totem being whacked.

By the way, here is the tree I changed from yours a bit. What do you think?

I'm currently working on this build and loving it. SO much fun and so strong.
Just wanted to share my experiences with this build.
From lvl 28 I have been using BLS and its been great, I really think if you want to level MS its worth using 2 of them.
Recently hit 58 and got a nice pair of gangs momentum 54% fire res and a massive 40% increased damage against ignited enemies.
I have also been using The wise oak bismuth flask for 20% added fire pen.
I also don't see myself affording a Xoph's amulet any time soon so I picked up avatar of fire.
My tool tip dps seems low at 10k but its melting everything.
Planning to pick up a formless inferno at 65 and then merc lab and uber for some cash and will try to get the head enchant.
Thank you for this build I'm having a blast with it and Im not even using the BIS weapons yet.
