Flame Golem question

Hi guys,
I'm running a breach golemancer on flame golems and just got a %increased fire damage jewel. My short questions is does this mod on the jewel affect the damage of my golems whatsoever, or does it only count towards damage from the player, etc. spells and attacks?

Should only be for you. Most of the time, the stuff has to specify minions to have an effect on them, especially on jewels.
