Cast while Channeling doesn't seem to trigger Offering spells -- Bug or working as intended?

Title pretty much says it all. Was going to try making a caustic arrow totem necromancer with a wither + CwC + desecrate + spirit offering setup, but the offering never actually triggers -- none of the offering spells do, although there are corpses around, and they work fine when cast manually. Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?

i hope it's a bug..

It doesn't work with anything requiring a corpse, including Raise Zombie and Detonate Dead. I discovered this hours after launch, posted a bug report, and have been waiting ever since to find out if this is intended or not.

I guess I'll get to play Breach eventually...
