[2.5 Video Guide] Assassin CI Blade Flurry End-Game Build! [HC/SC]

Did some math and found that poison is actually 75% more damage with Dual Scourge. It's around 45% for the dagger build. Obviously this only matters on bosses and probably ends up being more like 20-40% for most content since most enemies tend to die very quickly.

Math
Poison gives 8% of our damage per second for 2 seconds (total 16%). Noxious Strikes and Voidheart gives us an 80% poison chance. Toxic Delivery doubles our poison damage on crits and we should be around 90-95% crit chance. Poison gets around 275-300% increased damage from tree and gear. We also gets 30% increased duration if we've killed recently.

Poison=0.8*0.16*(2*0.90+0.1)*3
=73% more damage
If we've recently killed then it's 95% more damage.

For Daggers you have 100% poison chance but only around 150% increased poison damage.
Poison=0.16*(2*0.95+0.05)*1.5
=47% more damage

Hi Guys,

Was wondering if someone could go through my build/gear & point out if I am screwing up somewhere please. Only my second League & still learning.

Some of the points that I feel uncertain about:

* Am I focusing a bit to much on Attack Speed
* Jewels OK?
* How much Life Leach do I need?

@ffhighwind

Uhm hi! I was browsing this build and saw your comments/advises to be quite good and intriguing but I can't find your build for the Dual Scourge. Can you link it please? I'm gonna follow it as a guide for my next character :)

Thanks much!

Link your gear or open your profile.

No stun immunity. Chayula, Valyrium or Skyforth (not Kiaras please). You're missing Energy from Within which makes little sense to me since that's 21% ES. Other than that you aren't doing anything wrong. I hope you didn't pay for your dagger because it's basically the same as a Binos (maybe worse because no poison prolif).

Usual Recommendations:
1. Use a Dying Sun over a Taste of Hate for mapping.
2. Drop Ancestral Warchief, or at least reduce it to 1-2 links. It's only useful for hard bosses and even then it tends to die.
2. Use a PCOC setup. I recommend putting it on a 4L shield charge. The biggest problem with this build is power charges dropping and this will help you a lot since it keeps Fortify and power charges up simultaneously.
3. Use a 20% quality Blood Rage and put it in your weapon or shield. This allows you to weapon swap to disable it. Blood Rage gives a lot of attack speed, damage, and a little leech.
4. Get mana leech on a jewel instead of life or mana per hit. This helps on curse immune maps and enemies (like corrupted essences).

Thx, some great advice . . .

For Immunity I think I should go with Valyrium & Drop VoidHeart during mapping. Skyforth would be nice but have to save up a bit for that.

Fully buffed I have 10 077 ES, with Energy from Within it goes up to 10 577 . . . That's like 5% increase & not really worth it in my opinion.

Now running Blood Rage with War Chief on Dagger & PCOC on cloves with Shield Charge.

Thx for your help!
what do you guys think of the patch?

It looks like this build might be done for :(

"A damage reduction has been applied to one skill that dealt significantly more damage than other skills of its type, especially after one handed weapon changes.

Blade Flurry has had its damage reduced."

Does not look good . . . But think it will still be OK

Wow . . . And

"Two vaal auras have been reduced in power.

Vaal Haste now grants slightly lower values of attack, cast, and move speed.
Vaal Discipline no longer grants any bonus energy shield."
