2 magnitudes stronger earthquakes are worth noticing because they cause massive Tsunamis, which would kill several 1000 including people on different islands and possibly Australia. I am not mourning for losses because it's a first world country. Want me to give you numbers of murders in Brazil or South America and compare them with the entire war in Syria? That's that's hypocritial Political Correctness BS. Look at the most upvoted reddit comment. It's "good that they nerfed it" You know what's more relevant for NZ?
