Any MMORPG Advice till PoE next League? Bored!

Hello Guys,
I felt this league were extremely boring due to Fact that essences are one of the most devastating economy boosting items so builds are extremely centered around meta and all work for sake of essences and gaining economy through them but nothing else.
Also as a League player, I don`t enjoy much of standard for that long time left till next league.
GGG admits already that leagues become worse one after one, So I hope their eyes are kept wide for next leagues. I know they are busy with the Largest Expansion in PoE history for next years but still.
So I need actually an advice for another MMORPG to play till the upcoming league for path of exile.
And I would Like know the taste of players here for another game so that it's almost guaranteed I'd enjoy for now.

Thanks a Bunch, gonna look about them :)
Err...those are mostly ARPGS though.

The MMO I had fun with some years ago was Vindictus. The thing that got me interested back then is that it looks more western style as opposed to other action based free MMOs, which look like silly hentai :D It not open-world, it's instance based. The combat is action based with combos and dodging. The type of weapon you use determines what combos you can make. You can actually pop whirlwind with a combo if you dual wield lances.
You unlock new dungeon instances as you progress. Each dungeon has quest objectives which you can complete in about 10 minutes. When you kill the boss and finish the dungeon, the quest is completed and you get XP as quest reward. The bosses are challenging and fun. You need to repeat the dungeon quests to gain level and unlock new dungeons.
Items dont drop however and itemization is very...linear so to say. There are armor sets you can unlock as you level. The armor sets have a level requirement - every 10 level or so, you get to wear a new armor set. That's how you gear your character. The gear you can wear look really cool - it makes you strive for the levels so you can wear the newest set. You can buy the set pieces in the AH.

Can any1 tell me what they liked about grim dawn? I tried so hard to play it but couldnt get myself to finish even the first playthrough.... I didnt feel any progression... does it only get good toward the endgame like poe?
Atlantica, Star Trek Online, and Disgaea (playstation) were some of my favorites in the past. Pretty sure they are still going strong.
For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it
ad Atlantica and Vindictus: both are good. Allods are great as well but with month subscribe, not f2p model.

to DDusk about Grim Dawn - nothing special about that game.. its slow and there is nothing to take care of.
