[BlizzCon] Diablo 3 changes

Its not a good sign for D3, considering we still have to wait till late next year for the necro. And the other things they are doing should have been done long ago. I will still give it a shot if its not to costly though just for the heck of it.
they said the necro is coming second half of 2017.

lol.

Since 2011, it was already bloody obvious that Diablo 3 was a trainwreck. Tried it out in the open beta and it confirmed my suspicions that the game was way too dumb and casual to even interest me. They never got any money from me.

I am always baffled how some persons can be 100 pc emotionally invested towards a company's name and brand. Personally I don't give a crap anymore about Bioware, ever since they released that abomination called DA 2. That was a very telling sign to me and made it very clear what their target audience had become. They did give us NWN and BG. Thank them for that but there it stops.

The best gaming company in the market at the moment is Larian. They take player feedback to heart and are still enthousiastic to make quality pc games. Recently became aware that Kevin Van Ord quitted his job at gamespot (the last positive thing about that site) and now lives in Ghent. Chris Avellone also started contributing to Larian since last year.

1+ on both counts. ActiBlizz had nothing in common with the Blizzard of old, and DA2 was a complete abomination.
The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the build that gave it birth comes again.

I was torn on the subject of which was a bigger piece of junk, DA2 or DA Inquisition but then remembered the latter didn't have recycled side areas at least.

You have to get tired of that Bioware PR crap sooner or later, I think this last one about that new Mass Effect game was too much for me. They couldn't have just said 'we went with a female poster character this time because we felt like it', nooope, they had to go into some suffragette crap.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I would say DA2 because afterwards DA:I at least wasn't a surprise, I already had zero expectations since Bioware was in my trash folder.

Probably, yes. On the other hand, I replayed DA2 before Inquisition came out but I'd be surprised to find myself whipped or whimmed into trudging through Inquisition ever again. DA2 was certainly junk but it had a tiny bit of charm left, Inquisition felt generic like a Japanese light novel.

Couldn't say, I played DA2 for 20 minutes tops and DA:I for an hour before I quit in disgust. Good thing I pirated DA2 and had a refund option for DA:I. I would feel bad, D3-level bad, if I had given Bioware money for this shit.
