Bow leveling meta

I was wondering if I am the only one who thinks that LA is way better for leveling than other bow skills like TS.

Also, what's actually the current meta for bow leveling at a new league start?

It depends. Since you can use LA much earlier than TS, and LA synergizes with a lot of the low level unique bows really well (as well as the support gems you get early on, since they are *mostly* elemental), then yes, LA is nice for leveling. Once you can use a higher damage phys bow like Death's Harp or Opus, it just becomes a matter of personal preference.

For me, bow leveling is:

1. Silver Branch+Shrapnel Shot/Split arrow +Fire trap
2. Storm Cloud+LA
3. Either keep storm cloud, or switch to Roth's or Doomfletch depending on ele or phys
4. Tempest/Death's Harp
5. Phys bow or ele bow for end game depending on what route you are taking.

For a new league this obviously isn't quite the case. You just progress through bows as you find higher APS/DPS bows, and go Shrapnel to LA to either TS or LA. It may or may not be worth investing in a decent leveling bow early on in a league depending on prices and what your cash situation is like. With essences at least, it was pretty easy to get a decent rare bow that could carry you pretty far.
