Thats just one of those bands that are bit hardcore for me, I do admit they have excellent talent. I have tried to listen to some of their music a bit but it just dont grow on me like some music im unsure about at first.

Glad to see some quality bands like Megadeth, Dream Evil, Behemoth or Manowar but most of the other stuff posted is far from being called music. Since when is randomly screaming and playing the guitar with a fork called music? There are much better death metal bands out there that I don't see mentioned. I don't even see black metal and I mean real one like Bathory or Emepror not Cradle of Filth (though the first albums were ok).

Also, christan metal is junk.

I'm surprised to see that nobody mentions old heavy metal gods like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon. No power metal, hair metal etc?

I'm disappointed. *sadpandaface*

couple of those bands (cough and thou) are a little more doom influenced but are still really great bands if your into black metal definitely check these out some pretty varied takes on black metal in there

Regarding metal stuff I like Satyricon, Dodheimsgard, Samsas Traum, Dornenreich, Bethlehem, some of Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth, hmm and most probably forgot some more bands :)
