Why does this game bring out the worst in people?

Generally you don't get rich (or successful) by being kind and generous, or even fair and just. You get rich (or successful) by stepping on other people, being full of shit and lying through your teeth.

Something similar happened me too, one guy wanted to buy slivertongue bow from me, offered me about 2/3 of currency what i wanted, i refused it, him bothered me another 30 mins several times again with excuses like him's new, don't have anything etc, but i persisted, then him bought it from someone else and linked me it together with 2 mirrors.

Kinda funny.
