Blizzard won't miss the chance to cash in on the people's nostalgia,so D2 HD is inevitable. My all time favorite game,but do i want to rot in baal runs 24/7 ? naah...

D4 however that improves on D2 would indeed be great,but i REALLY doubt that current blizzard can make such a game,they are too scared to betray the facebook,entitled community they have now,which will eventually be their downfall.

Check their forums,there are more paradoxes here than in a possible time travel.

These two lines are the reason WoW and D3 failed,though im seeing some attempt to make it right with Legion,but it will take more than this to get me hyped about anything called "diablo" and them as creators.

They should just make a Cash-shop pass for the price of a retail game that gives you everything in the cash shop.

I mean, surely they're not saying that the stuff in the cash shop is worth more than a whole retail game, right?

Funny link, but no I am just going off rumors. But I think it would be easy for them to produce and we all know Blizzard likes money so it seems logical for them. We shall see!

only gripe i have with the monetization of this game, is that the microtransactions, ARENT MICRO!!! like wtf!!

id gladly buy stuff if it was like $5 max, maybe $10 for the really crazy awesome stuff,

all their shit is overpriced,
stash tabs should be like 50 cents a piece, okay, maybe a dollar MAX

GGG explained why this system works like this. You make PoE a B2P game, 80% of playerbase is gone. No one to trade with, no one to play with, no one to share your Vaal or no balls. Add incredibly long and hard learning process, and you get a game that very few will pay for, and GGG will share its fate with many other developers.
For online games, it is live or die, when it comes to amount of players online. If paying players have no one to play with, they will leave.

Also, did I mention you'd have to drop additional 40$ every new expansion?

Honestly, if you are so outraged about not being able to look fancy, while getting a full game for free, with all of the expansions, I guess you are better of to be milked by Activision Blizzard.

they make way more money this way. Most expensive game i ever played by an order of magnitude. I could buy 10 games for what I spent here and other ppl way mroe. Good business model IMO. But doesnt work without a good game.

Free to suck you in because GGG was a nobody, then pay up to store anything or look nice if you like it. I don't have a problem with it. Its like pure performance based intead of some games you buy and they sucks ass.

Because B2P doesn't get as many moneyz as ppl who spend thousands $ on random boxes
