Voidwalker Murder Boots Vs Atziri's step

Hello so I've been trying to decide between these 2 boots and my understanding is the step boots give me 16% spell dodge while the void walkers give me 20% avoidance which from what I've seen is everything so they would be better all around? Maybe my understanding is off? So if you had a choice what boots do you think are better?

At least from my understanding Atziri's provide 16% dodge to anything classed as a spell whereas Voidwalkers give it to anything classed as a Projectile. Most spells are projectiles but certainly not all of them.

I also don't entirely understand the term avoid, as it isn't listed as dodge I'd expect it to apply separately, not be additive thus diminishing its effectiveness on dodge based builds.

no life , low es , phasing trash mechanic.......just forget it and use atziri steps.

...depends how ur playing the game i guess lol

Voidwalker also has projectiles pierce while phasing which is great for ED builds. Can use slower projectile that has a large More modifier.
