Am big game enthusiast, Would love a Beta-Key

Hiya, i've only recently started playing MMOs but i thourghly enjoy them, i have played Diablo 1+2 and i'm told this game has similarities to 2, judging from the screenshots it does. im not sure how to get a Beta-Key and would love to have 1, if that cant be done ould you tell me when the open beta starts. ive read that the Beta-Keys are given at random but is there any other (free) way of getting 1? thks guys.
