Happening just now, cannot pick up any items

I was playing the game for a few hours just now. After going back to town, using waypoint to continue my quest at The Ledge (Act 1, Cruel), I can no longer pick up any dropped items.

Do you have Key Pickup set to anything under the UI Options? This would make it so you need to hold down a key to pick up items.
Has any exile really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
