Thanks for the reply! I've since gotten a Kaom's Heart and it's doing great. I've been waiting for an update to 2.6, and it seems you're working on that - looking forward to it!

Just based on the changes to AoE, it seems this build got a buff there. Using the same nodes as the 2.5 tree makes for a larger RF with the same gem setup (with Conc Effect), which is a very nice QoL improvement. Question, though. Assuming one wants to replace some AoE nodes so that it has the same AoE as before (in 2.5), which other nodes would you consider? I'm very tempted to go for Whispers of Doom for additional cursing since I use Witchfire, but it's quite a number of points away.


Yeah, looks like getting whispers of doom will cost you a few extra points, but if you're willing to sacrifice points elsewhere, perhaps HP, to get it, a second curse would be a substantial damage buff.
Note that Singularity's 80 % inc damage to hindered enemies does not affect RF.

Would it be better to use increased burning damage over Inc AOE for more dps vs bosses?

Also, is this build shaper/guardians viable?

It would be better to use Inc Burning Damage for bosses, but Inc AoE and Inc Burning are different socket colors so you would have to recolor your helmet everytime you switch between the two. Alternatively, you could use two different helmets for both set-ups.

I can't say if this build is shaper/guardians viable because I haven't attempted them (died in HC before I got to them), but if you're playing in SC and have a strong grasp of the mechanics of those fights, I'd say go for it and tell me how it went :P

Also - is it worth it to start rolling with RF as soon as possible, ergo at lvl 65 if you manage to break even at that point?

I'm playing RF jugger following this guide and bumped into the blood of karui, sanctified life flask which had a HUGE buff in 2.6, from a suicide tool to a good thing to consider as a RF player.

You should look at: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blood_of_the_Karui

Basically it went from no regen for 3 sec to 100% increase regen, plus the total life regen at the end of the 3sec, it's a good life flask for RF imo.

I died by AFKing on an uber lab trap x) felt pretty much unkillable by anything else at that point, including uber izaro, atziri, end-game mala, and twinned Volcano boss. 8k+ hp and max fire and phys reduction goes a long way towards keeping you alive. It's chaos, lightning and cold that you have to watch out for. You can go Rf at 65 easily as long as youre breaking even, but things really pick up at higher levels.

This flask is awesome! it is certainly the best option for a life flask, I'll update the guide to include it.
I have more than decent gear, took the bis items, but I feel a bit "squishy" only 50% of physical reduction without endurance charge, it's normal? (about 65-70% with)

I still need to change my amulet for a marble one, I tried to loot it in the wasteland but didn't achieve, is it a rare loot ?
