The worst part is that he even can facetank it with ugly map mods. So sad.

After playing other games and taking a PoE break, the first thing I notice here is visual clutter. You can barely see what's going on and on top of that the whole lightning diarrhea looks really bad.

BV/OP Meta builds: Nothing new and it seems to be intentional. There is no league or meta without an OP build that's better than everything else on a huge margin. My only guess is that those are for a certain kind of player who wants to feel OP eventually no matter what.
