Hey all,
I'm looking for this build to start my LEgacy (yeah I know, 3 days late ...)

I don't understand the Elemental Equilibrium node
To make it +40% Fire damage, I need to hit mobs with another elements first - am I right ?
But either I'm blind or not understanding all, I don't see a skill that goes Lightning or Cold to start with
Can someone bring some light to me ?
Thx

This is triggered via flat damage on another part of your gear with NO flat damage of fire. For example: 3-8 cold damage on a ring/gloves etc. This means the initial arrow damage will hit with cold, lowering the res, then the subsequent explosion will then hit with fire and get the benefit of the penetration. Subsequently for boss fights, the spamming of frenzy will then allow the ignite to tick harder as well.
OK thx for details

EDIT : to me "just read the f**ing "mechanics" spoiler in all, it's written ..."

Best advice I can give you is to go in a safe space and test how it works. Hover on mobs to see tool tip but don't kill the mob.

What would be more damage ive been using Hrimnor's Resolve Samite Helmet for the 40% fire dmg or should i swap to a Devotos for the attack speed?

Haven't thought of using that. Seems good. If you feel like you need more attack go for Devoto. But it's not like Devoto is a must at all. This one has a lot of utility and life as well...

EDIT: It's pretty much gg with the additions in 2.6. Stay with it and maybe report how it works. I don't play EA atm. Dex might be prob tho.

Hey GreenGroove, when do you think is best to swap in/out chance to ignite into a 4/5 link setup? I just switched over to EA at 50 in a4c and still have all my labs to do etc so I know I have a bunch ahead. Should I use ignite until I get conflux/quality on EA? Or is it always use ignite for all non ignite immune bosses? Also, is your LMP vs GMP decision based on overall damage output and ability to have additional arrows on quiver?

Also, you have CWDT at level 20, which requires something like 3k+ damage to trigger. Does that happen enough to always keep your golems up? It seems like a lot of life to loose to have to have it go off. Is the thought that you are clearing so fast otherwise that only on big hits will your golems prob already be dead?

thanks for the build, excited to keep pushing with it. stuck at work so can't try any of the above :)
So I started this build in breach and couldn't be happier with it. Thanks for putting together such a great and detailed guide, I came in as a complete EA noob and have been farming Uber Lab since less than 48 hours into the league. I have been doing 3 key runs instead of hard mods like charges on Izaro, but I haven't died a ripped a single lab run yet. My gear is a lot better than it was when I started lab now, but it's just overkill at this point. Izaro dies in a single 5 stack EA ignite in every stage.

My one suggestion for the guide is that you should make it clear that opal rings can be easily crafted with essence of anger for fire damage. Shrieking essences of anger are like 3c early in the league, and you can expect a usable Opal ring with ~50% total fire/elemental damage in about 3 crafts. Opal rings with good rolls are super expensive, so it people don't know you can craft them it can look like its not worth it.

Also, I'm not sure if this is explained somewhere in the comments, but what do you think about rearguard corruptions? I have one with additional arrow and one with fire leech, and they both feel lackluster to me despite being the most expensive items I have. Is the best use of these to run an additional arrow in your AOE set up and switch GMP to LMP?
Thank you for really good build, oneshotting pretty much everything
my gear
Spoiler

think need to craft a better second ring
Hey just a quick question.

After the AOE Nerf what is better, Beacon of Ruin or the Ele Prolif Gem?

Considering I only have a 5L and play on HC.

Definitely Beacon. The Elemental prolif gem is only usable on a 6 link with Grand Spectrum. And even with all that you can still have problems with some tough mobs in T15+.

The 4 link was explained in the Leveling spoiler.

Your basic EA setup is:

Explosive arrow > Fire penetration > Greater / Lesser multiple projectiles > Slower projectiles / Chance to ignite

I would always use Chance to ignite personally. Conflux is not really reliable. The GMP is better for general clearing. If you have Beacon of ruin LMP may be good enough. In the end it's a matter of preference, but also depends on damage.

You can level the CWDT with your golem gems. In the endgame they should stay up pretty much all the time. In hard maps it is not too hard to get hit for 3k damage in a single hit sometimes.

Glad ure having fun. Yes It is definitely good to craft opal rings. But remember that it's RNG. You need life on them. Provided that you have other GG gear that give you enough of resistances. Also remember that you need 170 to all resist for red ele. weakness maps.

That is why in the end I decided to take a rare quiver with life and lot of resists instead of Rearguard.

As for the +1 to arrows it depends. You can use the +1 arrow with LMP at first. In the enddgame, when you have a lot of damage I would use the +1 arrow on my single target. That way it is MUCH easier to target the boss even off screen.
