Dangerous Mobs - whats important to know - what killed u lately?

Hi community,

if some players participate and post their opinions and experiences, this could get a handy thread for newer players or HC-starters.

It should content the encounters u find in normal levelling and lower mapping - if u can prepare for a bossfight or a hard map, its not necessary to be added on this list.


What we remember as dangerous or what killed us lately:
- mutated chieftain on tora mission with Vaal Molten shell, if attacked in melee range
- instant death by spawned beyond-reflect-monster in front of the char
- dominus: the touch of god - even high tank classes cant tank this smash
- Triskeriaki-rakango-boss, does immense chaos damage with projectiles
- warband-leader
- flameblast-rogue exile
- ek-trap-rogue exile
- volatile-blood rare mobs, especially golems which roll in your char or chargers
- strongboxes: unided detonate dead - strongbox
- strongboxes: detonate dead - strongbox when u think it detonated already
- strongboxes: unided freezing strongboxes
- overall: corrupted blood
- overall: beyond bosses, semi-bosses, bameth with vaal DD
- reflect, especially ele reflect on shocked ground
- herald of the obelisk - mob-group
- shavronnes spikes in melee range, especially with blade vortex
- academy boss spikes in melee range, especially with blade vortex
- shooting miscreations if u get cursed with vulnerability
- porcupine-mobs which explode in spikes
- devourers
- stygian revenants
- colossal bonestalkers - heavy smash
- daressos dream: stunlock in the pits
- every chaos-damage monster if your chaos-res is bad, like the vaal-side-area-boss "snake", maligaro and the chaos-rain-leaping-frog-thingy (someone know the names?)
- dual/triple/quad - tempests in mobs/bosses
- village ruin boss or dog, if killed after the other and not nearly at once
- bearer-mods, which leave a explosing elemental bubble after their death. Especially flame bearers combined with mobs with explosive arrows - too many particles on the screen to avoid them
- if resists arent on max many mobs are dangerous, like dischargers in sewers and so on
- powerful crits and one-shots
- labyrinth traps
- ofc map bosses, map-mods and such
- ...game crashes, desync and lag...

Triskeriaki - unique rakango.
Triple/quadruple ghosted anything.
Residence dominus - touch of God - 1 shot (from 6K HP): I was bashing him with heavy strike - there was some lag and yeah, he did it twice as fast as normally; lockstep trying to catch up. :-)

yes, ripped in almost exact same way, just to frost bearers
it isn't bearers themselves, its them in combination with their drops that kill us
GGG pls nerf drops from bearers :)
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

closest calls in this league was:

-bearers with a slight desync
-game crash on a T13 map
-Chaos warband leader in T14 (killed the bastard with no potions/portals left after a 25min "fight")
-huge pack of white sparkers in T13 chain map (6800-->200hp in a second)
-Village Ruin dog, luckily i had the nerves not to move before i hit my staunching/seething
-Zana's 75 Museum bossroom with my IIR gear(low armour)
-Bameth's DD (didn't notice that it was a voidspawn-pack)
-freeze box (didn't notice that my anti-freeze was empty, special thanks to Decoy Totem)
-Ice nova box (perhaps crit would have killed me?)

-Crematorium boss gave me lot's of close calls, so my answer is:

map bosses can be excluded from that list as most will be new/ reworked.
